President of Ghana lower side Phar Rangers FC, Nana Yaw Amponsah, has  pledged GH¢2,000 financial support as his club’s widows mite to beleaguered Kotoko.

In commiserating with Asante Kotoko, the Akuapem Mampong-based club have been first to offer financial aid to the reds in this difficult times.

The Ghanaian giants were befallen by calamity after the team bus of the Porcupine Warriors had an accident in Nkawkaw en route to Kumasi following a league game in Accra.

The bus, which was carrying 35 players and team officials, crashed into a stationary truck while the team was heading to Kumasi after a league game against Inter Allies.
Some unconfirmed social media reports suggested that the Kotoko equipment officer, Thomas Obeng Asare, lost his life in the accident.
 Social media and other platforms have been inundated with tributes and message of support to the record Ghana League champions.
