SportsObama.com can exclusively report that, a Kumasi-based business mogul, who wants to remain anonymous, has pledged to donate a brand new bus to beleaguered Asante Kotoko following their tragic accident on Wednesday.
Asante Koktoko got their bus mangled when they were involved in an accident while returning to Kumasi after a league game in Accra against Inter Allies last Wednesday.
Assistant equipment officer George Kofi Asare died while some players, coach Steven Polack, and deputy Godwin Ablordey are still receiving treatment.
Several football enthusiasts and Philanthropists have since offered their support by donating to the Club.
The latest being the unnamed businessman who is believed to have phoned the executive chairman, Kwame Kyei to make the promise, as exclusively reported by SportsObama.com
The Sports Ministry and the Ashanti Regional Minister all donated GHC10, 000 to the Club to foot the medical bills of the injured players and officials.
Meanwhile, past directors and chairmen of the club have hurriedly arranged for a meeting on Wednesday to consider ways of assisting the club out of the present unfortunate situation.
