Isaac Dogboe, the WBO Interim Super Bantamweight Champion and his team were at the Presidency, on Tuesday, 9th January 2018, to present the title he won against his Mexican opponent, Cesar Juarez, on Saturday, 6th January, at the Bukom Boxing Arena.
The 2012 Olympian presented the interim WBO World super bantamweight belt he won to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
The presentation of the WBO strap to Akufo-Addo came off at the Flagstaff House in Accra.
Dogboe was there with his father and trainer Paul Dogboe, his manager Marwan Zakem and his uncle.
Dogboe last Saturday at the Bukom Boxing Arena made Ghanaians proud after stopping Mexico’s Cesar Juarez in round five to win the aforementioned title.
After this impressive win, Dogboe is in line to face full WBO World super bantamweight champion, Jessie Magdaleno.
