Chief Executive Officer for Zylofon Media, Nana Appiah Mensah has asked people in the showbiz fraternity to adhere to rules of engagement to help build a better industry.
According to him, there is the need for collaboration to build stronger institutions in Ghana because that is the recipe for growing and sustaining the entertainment industry.
In a tweet, the bank roller of Ghana’s biggest record label said “I admonish all arts practitioners; let’s collaborate in a bid to build strong arts institutions in Ghana. Ones that would make players adhere to the rules of engagement. This is the key to the growth and sustenance of showbiz in Ghana”.
His tweet, however, comes after Zylofon signed act Stonebwoy has publicly declared that he can be booked through Burniton Music and the fact that he is not going back to Zylofon Media although he has a contract with the organisation.
Reports also suggest that Lawyers of Zylofon Media have written to Charter House to question why they have engaged their artiste without their consent.
