The Management of the National Service Scheme has appointed David Prah, the Eastern Regional Communications Director of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) as the new Director of Public Affairs, a statement from the scheme said.According to the statement, “The affable and vociferous Eastern Regional Communications Director of NPP worked at both National Information Technology Agency (NITA)and Youth Employment Agency (YEA) the Director of Corporate Affairs Directorate prior to his appointment at NSS.”

“He is a graduate of University of Ghana with Master of Philosophy (M. Phil) in Adult Education where he majored in Programme Planning and Evaluation, Human Resource Development and Psychology. He had his Bachelor of Education Degree from the University of Education, Winneba.” The statement added.

“He has taught at all levels of education in the country and has rich experience in Teacher Education with specialty in Psychology and Pedagogy.

He served as the Special Assistant to the former Deputy Minister of Defence Hon. W. O. Boafo, Akuapem North Municipal Youth Employment Coordinator and Akropong Constituency Communications Officer of the New Patriotic Party during the erstwhile Kufuor’s regime.

David Prah also has lots of expertise in Technical and Vocational Education and Training with sound knowledge in Competency Based Training(CBT) Quality Assurance and worked with COTVET as the Quality Assurance Officer.

The firebrand Communicator has a great deal of experience in political Communications and has attended a number of national and international conferences in Cooperate Communications.” The statement went on.

  1. my name is issifu fatawu a service personnel at the northern region which is bulsa district at the youth leadership training and skill institute.To my experience to what I have say if the government and the youth and sports will sit up to help on vacational education it will be good because where am I for now the school lack permanent teaching staff in the school, you can imagine every year for them to be using national service personnel in the school will that help,what even worried is that one master for three to four subject why when our badge came the promise to maintain as we the 2018 badge. so am also pleading to the government to do something about it.
