Asante Kotoko skipper Felix Annan has proposed a solution to curtail the high rate of player exodus in Ghana
Ghana has been considered as one of the African countries with high rate of player exodus.
But according to Felix Annan, this can only be curtailed when players are paid well in the domestic league especially the Premier League players.
He explained that if players are paid a minimum wage of $1000, players will intend to stay in the league to help the domestic clubs compete very well with teams from other countries.
“For me, the way Ghana has talent, if players are paid a minimum of $1000 then the players will be able to stay for about four to five years before leaving abroad.
“If the players also stay in the league for long, we will be able to compete with clubs from other countries that we have always wanted”, Annan said on Sports WhatsApp.
