Political Science Lecturer at University of Ghana, Prof. Ransford Gyampo has expressed regret about appearing on Television and Radio programmes as guest panelist declaring that he has created enemies and disadvantaged himself to the benefit of media entities, MyNewsGh.com reports.
In a series of post on his Facebook timeline on Friday [May, 29], Prof. Gyampo described media entities in Ghana as ‘chisel’ and ‘misers’ who enrich themselves with their resource persons who provide content and enrich their programmes yet do not appreciate their effort.
He bewailed that he and his likes have created enemies for themselves appearing on Tv and radio programmes but have not received a cedi or gift card from any of the entities he has been on.
“Appearing on tv & on radio isn’t rewarding for some of us who speak our minds. We create enemies for ourselves. We disadvantage ourselves to enrich media programmes. Yet they can’t even raise one cedi to buy a card just to say thank u.
U call yourself an accomplished radio/tv station. Yet u can’t even buy a Christmas or Appreciation Card worth one cedi to show gratitude to resource persons who enrich your programmes. Repent, U misers & “chisel” Media Houses.”
