Ghana Premier League side Asante Kotoko have fumigated their club as part of fighting the novel Coronavirus.
Environmental and disease control experts on Friday fumigated the club’s secretariat in Kumasi as Management takes steps to keep the office clean against Coronavirus.
The fumigation exercise, which was done by officials of Zoomlion Ghana Limited, saw both the interior and exterior of the secretariat disinfected.
The Acting Chief Executive Officer, Joseph Yaw Adu told Kotoko Express App that, Management intended to sanitise and clean up the office to make it safe for both staff and visitors.
“The Covid19 infections keep increasing and Kotoko secretariat is open to the public. Anyone seeking information, players, coaches, technical staff and everybody come here. Our administrative staff are important to us so we needed to protect ourselves and our visitors. That is the reason we had to fumigate the secretariat.”
