Hearts of Oak head coach, Edward Nii Odoom has reportedly submitted 27-man squad to the management of the club.

This was reported by Sunyani-based Nimde3 FM, disclosing that eight players were left out of the squad.

The 27-man squad, according to Nimde3 FM, are the players coach Edward Nii Odoom want to work with in the upcoming league season though the team might sign one or two players to beef up their defence.

Players left out of the squad include Christopher Bonney, Bernard Arthur and Burkinabe forward Abubakar Traore.

In all, four goalkeepers, eight defenders, seven midfielders and eight attackers were submitted to the management of the Accra-based club.

GOALKEEPERS: Benjamin Mensah, Richard Attah, Richmond Ayi and Richard Baidoo

DEFENDERS: Fatawu Mohammed, Larry Sumaila Ibrahim, Radji Ovuoka, William Denkyi, Mohammed Alhassan, Nuru Suley, Robert Addo Sowah and Benjamin Agyare

MIDFIELDERS: Abdouramani Mamane Lawali, Benjamin Afutu Kortey, Emmanuel Nartey, Frederick Ansah Botchway, Abdul Aziz Nurudeen, Abdul Umar Manaf Gumma and Daniel Kodie

FORWARDS: Eric Dizan, Kofi Kordzi, Joseph Esso, Abednego Tetteh, Danjuma Kuti, Kojo Obeng Jr, Daniel Afriyie Barnie and Mitchell Sarpong
