Ghana’s all-time leading topscorer, Asamoah Gyan is on the verge of joining Egyptian side Wadi Degla SC.
Reports in the media reveals that, the 34-year old legendary Ghanaian striker alongside his representatives have reached the advanced stage of negotiations with the Cairo based club.
Asamoah Gyan has been unattached after stay with Indian top-flight side NorthEast United came to an end in January 2020.
It is believed that, Wadi Degla SC are poised to sign the former FC Sunderland goal poacher before the commencement of the 2020/2021 league season in Egypt.
Wadi Degla SC are known for signing experienced players with the likes of former Chelsea star Florent Malouda joining them in 2016.
Gyan had a successful stint with NorthEast United, scoring four goals in eight matches with one assist.
He is currently the leading Black Stars topscorer with 51 goals in 109 appearances since his debut in 2003.
